Politics and the Death Penalty

Politics why bother i don't give a crap i mean the law has gone to hell since the death penalty got banned. i mean life in jail for murder i right let the suckers hang that's what i say. i mean if you take someones life your life should be taken to right?, i mean if someones gonna hang for murder or rape then i don't think people would want to commit the crime.

We need to put someone who is gonna actually do something not like this stupid whats his face that if hes gonna be prime minister hes putting the age up to 21 in drinking THAT'S NOT GONNA WORK there will be more underage drinking and probably crime because the people under 21 will go out and just get smashed and guess what THAT NOT GONNA CHANGE.

  1. I agree with you there Leona, I think they should bring the death penalty back for the people that murder people. I also agree even though i'm turning 21 next saturday that the drinking age shouldn't go up because it won't work. More under agers will want to drink because they will need to be older again than 18 till they are legally able to drink so it will make them think they are more cool again. Also more adults will be forced to get under agers drink.

  2. I agree as well, keep the drinking age where it is and look at other things to fix than teenagers.

  3. Lots of mixed messages here. The death penalty relies on conviction for capital crime being 100% watertight and it never can be.
Take the case of Derek Bentley, the last teenager to be hanged, who was killed because he shouted "Let him have it," to his accomplice.
The prosecution argued he was telling him to shoot the policeman, the defence that he meant for him to hand over the gun.
With such a close call, is it safe to sentence a man to death?
The trouble with capital punishment is that judgement must be black and white when the situation is multi coloured.
